Gainsborough: An Invitation at Smallhythe place Place near Rye June 2017 19:30 - 21:30


The Barn Theatre at Smallhythe Place will become Gainsborough's studio, from which he captured the beauty of the British landscape. His letters and friendships will be explored through this captivating performance, accompanied by a rustic live soundscape.The theatre tea-room will be open from 6pm serving a full menu of hot and cold refreshments.  Join Mole, Ratty, Badger and Toad as they embark on the adventure of a lifetime and battle with a pair of pick-pocketing weasels to save Toad Hall. Performed in the open-air.Immersion Theatre is returning to Smallhythe Place for another acclaimed open-air show.
